Bride books

I went to our local library a couple days ago and picked up some wedding books. I left 4 of them, lol

I found this book very helpful and gave me some great ideas.
How to buy everything for your wedding on eBay-- and save a fortune! by: Prince, Dennis L.

I plan on getting alot of our things (decor, flowers, ect...) from Ebay now.

I also found a book from The Knot, The Knot ultimate wedding planner : worksheets, checklists, etiquette, calendars & answers to frequently asked questions by: Roney, Carley.

They have SO MANY checklists in this book, I plan on copying a ton from this book.

If anyone else wants to add any to the list please let me know

Wedding Venue

We are finding it nearly impossible to find a venue that we like, in our budget, and big enough for all of our guests.

We are throwing around the idea of having an intimate ceremony and a huge reception.

All our wedding plans have come to a halt because we need a venue before anything else can be done.

Any other couples having issues like this????

Trying to live together

So we both live with our families right now, I live with my mom and brother (my dad passed away last year) and he lives with his parents and brother. We will occasionally stay over at each others house.

I knew he snored but last night when I stayed over at his house he was snoring the worst he ever has and I saw EVERY HOUR pass on the clock. I'm a light sleeper so I know that doesn't help matters, but I don't know how to deal with the snoring.

We are preparing to live together in 5 months or so and I'm not looking forward to the snoring every night.

I slept on the couch for a while last night but missed the bed.

I would love some suggestions from anyone to combat the snoring.

Thanks B

Our first post

Hi!

My Name is Beth, my Fiancés name is Russell.

We wanted to start a blog to capture us starting our lives together.

We got engaged on December 26th 2011, that was definitely the high of my year.

2011 was a very hard year for my family, while I was out of town doing my internship for my culinary degree, my Father had a massive heart-attack and didn't survive.

I will be graduating this may with my Associates of Science degree and we will be moving 3 hours away from home because my internship turned into a full time job.

This blog will chronicle our journey from engaged couple to married life.
